Home Emergency Contractors List

We suggest that you contact at least three home emergency repair companies and select the ones that you think, will provide the best emergency service for your family and put them at the top of your emergency contractor list.

You should have at least two to three phone numbers for home emergency damage contractors, just in case you can't get a hold of one of them.

Questions to Ask Potential Contractors

1. Are there at least two or more phone numbers for the service companies? Just in case you can't get a hold of someone at the main phone number.

2. How does my homeowners insurance policy work with these companies? Some contractors might not work with certain insurance companies.

3. What city are they located in and how fast would they be able to respond to an emergency? Make sure you select a contractor that is local.

4. It wouldn't be a bad idea to find out how long these contractors have been in business.

5. How much do they charge? Some 24 hour service repair companies have hourly fees, while others simply provide you with the bill after they're done. Have the company explain their billing and payment process to you, so  you're not shocked, once the bill finally arrives.
